What IS PLR?

It's an e-book or software that has Private Label Rights attached to it. Although the scope of rights given vary from supplier to supplier, normally those rights allow you to make that digital product your own so that you can sell it afresh.

What's the best kind of PLR?

That would be anything that's 'White-Label', such as all the products on my favourite PLR Store. With these procudts you can totally re-brand the whole thing. This allows you to re-sell informative e-books and add your own information and knowledge to them. Of course, you have the rights to put your name as the author!

If your PLR product is software, and you have 'White-Label' rights, you will have the right to edit the software, add functions to it, add it to another chunk of your coding, and say you wrote it all!

Why shouldn't I just sell it on unchanged?

The biggest reason is that by changing the product, adding information, changing how it's put together and then putting your name on it, you are setting yourself up as an 'expert'. If you take the time to do a good job, people will soon be looking for your stuff, and using your name to search with.

Where can I find good PLR Suppliers?

Personally I like to use http://zupah.com/market to get my PLR. They have products being added all the time, and they specialize in 'White-Label'-only products. which means you know that you have full free-reign to do as you please with your purchase before putting it on the market afresh!
