They are attached to furniture, shopping trolleys, catering trolleys, cages that are used for transporting goods to retail outlets and even on units that are used in heavy industry. They can be fixed or swivel and are made from various materials. However, regardless of their size and material, their general aim is to make objects move across the floor easier than would otherwise be possible.
